Why Nitre Law
Nitre Law is not a factory. We do not measure our practitioners in billable hour targets. We value the are intellectually curious, commercially grounded, and genuinely motivated and we helping clients navigate difficult situations.
Our practice spans corporate, maritime, space, defence, property, and succession law, as well as our flagship Consigliere services. Practitioners at Nitre Law are exposed to a range of matters and are not simply siloed in a single area of practice.
We are honest about what we offer. We are a boutique firm, not a large corporate practice. The trade-off is meaningful work, a collaborative environment, and the kind of client relationships that are only possible at this scale.

What we look for
We are interested in practitioners with experience in one or more of our practice areas — particularly corporate/commercial, maritime, space, or succession law. We value commercial backgrounds alongside legal qualifications.
We welcome applications from experienced Queensland conveyancers who are looking for a firm environment that values their expertise and invests in their professional development.
We engage specialist external consultants where client matters require depth in areas outside our core team — including technical maritime, space, and defence industry experts.
We occasionally have requirements for experienced legal support staff: paralegals, legal assistants, and practice administrators who bring a high standard of work and client care to the role.
